Chelsea have agreed a fee in the region of 100m euros (£88.5m) to sell Belgium midfielder Eden Hazard, 28 to Real Madrid. The 28-year-old Belgian will leave Stamford Bridge after seven hugely successful years at the club, winning the Premier League twice, one FA Cup and two Europa League titles. (Guardian)
Liverpool and Netherlands centre-back Virgil van Dijk, 27, wants to sign a new deal at Anfield. Manchester United are ready to rebuff any approaches for France midfielder Paul Pogba, 26. The United have been unwavering in their insistence that the 26-year-old will remain at Old Trafford after an attempt to leave last year. Sportsmail understands club officials also doubt whether Juventus, the latest club linked with interest in Pogba, have the money available to finalise a deal. (Mail)
Meanwhile, United will announce Sporting Lisbon and Portugal midfielder Bruno Fernandes, 24, as their first signing of the summer after the Nations League finals. The Portuguese midfielder is attracting major interest following his impressive season in front of goal. Fernandes has been linked with Premier League champions Manchester City in recent weeks. But according to A Bola, United are the front-runners to land the 24-year-old in the near future. The Portuguese outlet claim Old Trafford chiefs have a meeting with Sporting officials this week where they hope to be able to thrash out a deal.
